I want to give this 5 stars, but there a two issues that prevent it. It is a very well designed and made unit. It assembles easily, everything fits as it should. I like it a lot.

As for the two issues, the first is minor but annoying. The real wood drawer pulls are secured with the same size and type wood screw as are used to assemble the upper drawers. Unfortunately, it is far too easy to strip the threads (in the wood) while tightening. I can see them requiring repair or replacement before long.

The second issue regards the bottom (file} drawer. While the designers were thoughful enough to provide support rods for both standard and lateral file folders, they neglected to put a bottom in the drawer. This would seem to be no big deal, but if you don't plan to use that drawer for hanging folders, it is a very big deal. In addition, if you are using file folders, and one should become unhooked, it will hang down into the void, possibly preventing opening the drawer.
