The sizing according the information provided is correct, however the pictures offer a different perspective on the dimensions. I have a small laptop and almost cover all the stand, there is no excess space on the side.
Additionally there is a border on the back that limits the space and makes the laptop uneven on the sides

Shipped and delivered pretty fast. Looks exactly like the picture shown. The instructions were a but vague, but the assembly was self-explanatory and was super easy to do. I was surprised by how effective the lock was.
